Herco Kühltechnik GmbH was founded in 1978 by Dr Peter Hermanns.
The company founder’s professional activity in the German Mining Industry was guiding for the company building on a solidly founded basis. Herco Kühltechnik was decisively involved in the development of air- and watercooling machines for the employment underground and above ground.

Due to the similar demands that occur in the tunnel construction area, these machines soon where installed here as well.

As a foundation for a successful future, the management has started early to open up new markets worldwide outside the German Mining Industry.
