Water-cooling machines

Water-cooling machines are employed when several operating locations can be cooled using cold water from a central source at the same time. The advantage of water-cooled chillers is that they are easier to maintain, as the sophisticated machinery is located in one central position. Water-cooled chillers can be supplied with high-pressure condensers. The thermal energy thus absorbed underground is transported directly to the surface via shaft pipes and transmitted into the atmosphere.
